did you know that the Bible condones and blesses several polygamous marriages, including David, Solomon, Jacob, and many, many others? did you know that the Levitical law required women to marry their rapists? did you know that if a woman's husband died and he had no children, his brother would be required to marry her and produce heirs?

did you know that in the Levitical law (Leviticus 18:22 to be exact) that male-male ritual sex was condemned as idolatrous (not perverted)? did you know that the same word to'ebah ("abomination") was used to describe a woman who wore men's armor in a cult, and various other idolatrous practices?

did you know that David and Jonathan, the most widely praised pair in the Bible, were romantically in love with each other? did you know they exchanged clothing and cited vows to each other? I don't know about you, but that sounds an awful lot like a marriage to me

did you know that the Bible's original language was not (God forbid) ENGLISH?? BAWWW I can see the words right there in plain English, so that's what it means, rite???????//?//? no

did you know that the majority of the people Jesus said who were going to Hell were the hyper-religious pharisees, who were bent on keeping an image of self-righteousness by twisting the laws instead of earnestly trying to follow God?

Honestly, that wasn't the best way to handle the matter.
We as Christians need to make an appeal to Christianity, so people would be interested by it. Why would you tell her to burn in Hell? That's why people are so turned off by Christianity, hon. Please think before you comment.
I'm trying to be friendly here... but I'm really disappointed by the way you handled this, even though I don't know you.
